I have been entertaining more than usual and this little recipe is one of my favourite whip-up wonders. Because it doesn’t have tahini in it and it is easily made fresh, it is also Preggy-friendly.
1 can chick peas (drained and rinsed)
1 tsp cumin (seeds or powder)
1 Tbsp white vinegar
pinch of salt
1 tsp peanut butter or small handful of sunflower seeds
4 cloves garlic (I like mine really garlicky)
Olive oil to blend
Put everything into a tall jar and use a stick blender to combine. You can also mash instead if you like it chunky!
Yum- yum – and you don’t even need lemons!
